There has been some bickering on my lawn today. Feathered bickering.

The sparrows have all fledged...well, at least there won't be the incessant yelling on the rooftops to the other Patriarch sparrows- or so I thought! There has been so much noise on the lawn, it's been comical. Mum and Dad Sparrow are feeding and fluttering around.

However, to cause a little more friction, a huge family of baby Starlings have also fledged and they have been fighting with each other all day long....like full on beak to beak fights in mid air!

The pigeons are all a-cooing and pushing the Starlings off the birdfeeders....and then they slither down the conservatory roof.

I do love watching them though....

It's probably how they interpret our human behaviour too!
